Starting as early as High School, Colleen
crafted her skills by cutting hair in her
parent’s kitchen. Colleen had a full
clientele compliment, made up of friends and
family during this time. Upon graduation,
Colleen spent a year studying at Emily Carr
College of Art and Design, honing her
creative processes even further. In 1998,
Colleen began her apprenticeship with Julien
Grenier in Crimpers Salon 545. |

Since 1990, right from the opening of the
first Tech 1 Hair Design Salon, Colleen
began her career as an original Tech 1 Team
member. Colleen stays inspired by those
around her and she strives to continually
learn so that she might share her new
techniques with her clientele. |
